Esports in an Education

The majority of students in esports clubs have previously never participated in an after-school activity. Extracurricular activities are proven to improve student attendance and GPA.

Harnessing student interest in esports is proving to be a valuable gateway into technology related STEM skills: programming, robotics, graphic design and web design.

In addition, esports also provides opportunities to instill hard-to-teach Social Emotional competencies desired by employers.

A proper eSports arena is a multi-purpose lab that is agile in nature. Students learn broadcasting, video production, graphics editing, computer sciences during the school day, and transform the space into the athletic arena for league competition.
